Instructions:
Choose a current issue relevant to the field of clinical mental health counseling. Write a research paper discussing the following areas:
• The issue and its relevance to the field of clinical mental health counseling,
• The existing advocacy efforts,
• Current advocacy needs, and
• Your own ideas for appropriate advocacy to address the issue.

The paper must be 8-10 pages in length (not including the cover page and reference section) and use at least six (6) recent (within the past 5 years) scholarly sources (e.g., journal articles or books). This paper should be written in APA style, including appropriate citations and references, in the style of a professional paper. Your paper should be free of grammatical or spelling errors and should reflect the quality of writing appropriate for professionals completing a graduate degree. No plagiarism.
