Radiographers need to gather accurate information or evidence to support their professional practice so they can understand, get involved in using and determine what is best practice so that the highest quality service can be delivered.
- You MUST use a range of published research from any appropriate health related discipline and any appropriate professional or Governmental guidance documents. You should also relate your discussion to the achievement of relevant Standards of Proficiency for Radiographers

- An essential element of patient care in radiography is the safe use of ionising radiation and the application of the IRR (2017) to practice. This might be briefly acknowledged in your assignment, however this aspect of your knowledge is being assessed by a separate exam and therefore detail of radiation protection is not required in this assignment.
