For this week’s entry, go to Authentic Happiness and take the VIA Survey of Character Strengths located under the “Questionnaires” tab. This assessment measures 24 character strengths. Completing this survey will help you learn more about your personality and leadership style. (Note: The assessment is free but you will need to register at the website.)

When you are finished with the assessment, write a thorough response (250–350 words) to the following questions:

How did you react to results? What did you learn about yourself that was new or surprising?
As you reflect on the results of the VIA Survey of Character Strengths, consider its impact upon your leadership abilities. Based on the results of your assessment, identify and discuss one of your leadership strengths. Also, identify and discuss one possible challenge or weakness. Integrate the four components of emotional intelligence in your evaluation (pp. 23–24).
