CHAPTER 3 OF MY THESIS: METHODOLOGY.
For all methods/approaches chosen:
– Present the alternatives (definitions, benefits, weaknesses, etc.)
– Explain/justify your choice(s): why did you choose one method and not the other

Sections have to be divided as:
1 Research Approach, Research Method
– Rationale/justification of the approach chosen
– Deductive approach rather than inductive. explain why
– Explanatory study. justify study?
– qualitative research method. justify why
2 Data Collection Method(s)
– Population, Sample, Sampling procedure
– What is the potential population for your study? (find them below)
– Is the sampling frame determinable?
– not, so non-probability sampling must be applied. explain. this is because I choose who to interview
– Which sampling method was chosen?
– How were the participants selected/contacted? Email and then face to face interview
– How many did participate in the study? 8
– Data collection technique is /interviews:
– Design (Your own design) explain why
– Data requirement table
– Pilot study etc.
3 Data Analysis
– Which methods will be/were applied?
– Which steps will be/were conducted: for example coding, tabulation, etc.
– Which programs will be/were used?
– Such decisions must be made and evaluated before the data will be collected – why?
4 Validity and Reliability/Trustworthiness
– What will be/was done in order to make the data and the entire research valid?
– Can your study be reproduced and would deliver the same/similar results?
5 Limitations
6 Ethical concerns: for example interviewee’s right to remain anonymous
7 Critical Analysis of Approach(es) Applied (optional): suggestions for improvement (what would you do better if you would have a second chance?)
