Suppose an instructor decided that every student in the class would have his or her final grade raised one entire grade level (e.g., from a B to an A) as long as the attendance rate of the entire class was more than 85 percent for every class meeting. Once the attendance rate dropped below 85 percent, everyone in the class would lose one full grade at the end of the semester.

What type of social dilemma is this? HAs a student in this class, what could you do to ensure your final grade did not drop?
