Secondary Services Reflection

Read the attached two articles below and develop a one-page reflection addressing issues related to preparing secondary students with disabilities for adult employment, educational, and living opportunities.

Q1. What issues (personal, environmental, economic, cultural) exist in preparing secondary students with disabilities for adult employment, educational, and living opportunities?

Q2.What do we need to do to make secondary school meaningful, relevant, rigorous, and individualized for all learners?

Q3.Why is it important for you as a service provider for students with disabilities to know this information?

Q4.Where do we go from here? Use specific examples and references from your readings to develop your reflection.

Be succinct in your points but also be detailed. Avoid discussing feelings and opinions. This should be a professional reflection substantiated with references (a reference list can be created).
