Health outcomes among Black Americans are substantially lower than those of White Americans. Black Americans health morbidities and mortality rates are much greater due to disparities such as poverty, lack of medical coverage and access to care which make them more susceptible to illness. A number of promising strategies have been launched in northeastern states such as New York over the last few weeks to enhance outcomes in the prevention and treatment Corona virus (COVID-19). However, we continue to see disparities in morbidity and mortality rates among minorities groups who have been infected with the disease. As an independent studies student, what type of intervention would you employ to reduce or prevent the spread of this disease among minorities?
