Topic: LIVABLE COMMUNITY DISCUSSION

ONE FULL PAGE

Think about Ruth & Franklin’s (2014) discussion of the juxtaposition between the concepts of livability and sustainability. We know that the chief difference is the tension between the present and the future.

Based on the Week 1 readings, describe in at least 200 words what is the best approach to take when considering how to approach achieving livability and sustainability as a public administrator?

Include in your response an analysis of two to three challenges that exist to achieving livability and sustainability.

Be sure to reference the Week 1 readings in your response.

Provide feedback on your peers’ suggested approaches using the Week 1 readings to support your position. Indicate how your peers’ approaches compared to your own.
