After reading “The Battle for the Continent” from chapter 4 of Give Me Liberty! (pp. 169-178), answer the following questions in a post of 150 to 200 words:

Briefly summarize the Seven Years’ War between Britain and France and explain the motives of native Americans in fighting the war.

Then, hypothesize what you think the United States would look like today if the North American colonists had respected the Proclamation Line of 1763, prohibiting further colonial settlement west of the Appalachian Mountains.
