Do the following:

Edit white noise (using a sound remover or a similar plugin)

EQ dialogue (to fit it in the mix with the music)

Remove any unnecessary squeaking or pops from the floor

Compressor (If needed)

Use multiband dynamics of some sort to “warm up” or “fill out” the vocal (if needed)

EQ the song (slightly) to fit the vocal into the mix of the song

Combine source music and boom mic file (best leveling)

If there are multiple takes, no need to combine the source music and mic file but still mix them as if you
were going to

Feel free to use any editing DAW software that you’d like. Remember to have fun! We are just trying
