This research aims to clearly identify challenges and opportunities related to the introduction of electric vehicles and electric bicycles within UK last mile logistics and to find ways which can better contribute to deal with this difficult challenges.

1.2 Research objectives:

In order to achieve the above aims I will propose three objectives:

1. Identify the environmental benefits and issues using electric vehicles and electric bicycles within UK last mile logistics;

2. Analyzing, determining and exploring different opportunities and issues using electric vehicles and electric bicycle within UK last mile logistics from strategic, planning and operational point of view;

3. Providing financial support by the authorities for private logistics companies.
