Complete a preparation outline for your Week 5 Informative Speech. This outline is designed to help you structure and detail your speech and prepare for delivery.

Be sure to consider key ideas from the lesson and the reading as you plan your speech: selecting a topic you are enthused and knowledgeable about, creating a solid thesis statement, conducting thorough credible research, and so forth. Your topic should be strictly informative, where you are providing information to your audience while remaining objective.

This is not the speech to take a stance or insert your opinions.

If you have a wheel chock and hollow pipe, grab them too, along with your flashlight and a towel or blanket to kneel on. Stabilize the car for added safety by placing a wheel chock or something wedge-like under the wheel that’s diagonal to the flat”.

“Knowing how to change a tire is a necessary skill for all drivers. If you rely on a cell phone to save you in a roadside emergency, there’s always that chance you will forget to charge it, be out of range, or leave it at home. Flat tires can happen anywhere, and a cell phone is no substitute for knowing how to change a flat tire”.
