Assignment Description:
Students will be asked to conduct research and write a 2-3 page term paper discussing advance directives and their purpose in the healthcare field.
In the essay, student should:
 Explain the concept of advance directives.
 Identify the process of developing to executing a directive.
 Present their importance from the healthcare perspective.
 Provide examples, details, and support to argument.
 Illustrate the argument by providing a case study (research –online) where advance directives were used
and/or abused.
Resource Requirements:
Students must cite a minimum of two resources. If students are using any further additional sources, they must also be cited in-text and in the reference page.
