Instructions
For this assignment, you will follow a tutorial to create a sports shoe image to get familiar with Photoshop software. Please take some time to do this assignment if you are a first time user of Photoshop. You will be equipped with basic knowledge of using Photoshop to design and develop your Photoshop project which worths 30 points.
This week’s assignment is one that will take up more of your time. Please plan accordingly. If you have any questions, feel free to email me, or we can make arrangements to chat on Canvas or Zoom.

Submit the following:
1. A .psd file you create in Photoshop (this is the original file showing all of the different layers)
2. A .jpg, jpeg, or png file you create in Photoshop (this is the image created from the Photoshop project)

You will be graded using this rubric:

Points Criteria
8 Demonstrates mastery over the ability to find and use Photoshop tools to manipulate the various images and layers to PRECISELY create the final shoe image, including all 7 essential components correctly.
Essential components:
·      Clouds
·      Grass
·      Circles (size and colors)
·      Shoes being uniform (facing the same direction and similar sizes)
·      Title text
·      Shoe label text
·      Components placed in correct places and working together in a way that is logical
6 Demonstrates the ability to find and use Photoshop tools to manipulate the various images and layers to APPROXIMATELY create the final shoe image, including 5-6 essential components correctly
4 Exhibits the ability to find and use Photoshop tools to manipulate the various images and layers to ROUGHLY create the final shoe image, including containing 3-4 essential components correctly
2 DOES NOT exhibit the ability to find and use Photoshop tools to manipulate the various images and layers to create the final shoe image; includes 1-2 essential components correctly
0 Either does not turn in this assignment or DOES NOT exhibit the ability to find and use Photoshop tools to manipulate the various images and layers to create the final shoe image; includes no essential components correctly
