Yes the word count only counts for the essay itself, not the appendices or the tasks. So words are used to say why you would use the text with intermediate students. Why is it suitable for them? Think about language and interest.
Describe your lead-in, prediction and productive task. What are you doing and why are you doing it.? Make sure you draw on your reading to do this.
Describe the order you would do the 2 reading tasks. Which one is gist and which is detail? Why do it in this order? Again, use your reading to help you.

Then in the table make sure you identify the answers (column 1) show where the answers are in the text (column 2) and say how you will explore the answers in feedback (column 3)
