  2. An op amp has a common mode gain of 3.6 and a CMMR of 100 dB.

(i) Calculate the differential voltage gain.

(ii) If the common mode gain was 3.6 and the differential voltage gain (Ad) was 2.0 x 105, calculate the CMMR.

  1. List at least 4 op- amp characteristics and explain their importance while designing an audio circuit.

Task 4:

Generate K-map for

  • f (p,q,r,s) = ∑(0, 5,7,8,9, 12,14,15)

Implement the reduced expression from k-Map using logic gates and explain its operation.

Task 5:

Data storage techniques have evolved in recent decades. Explain the difference between digital and analogue storage techniques. What are the benefits of each technique and list 3 examples of each.

Evaluate the most relevant type of circuit applicable (analogue/ digital) for the following applications:
