Description

This is a link to this first 100 pages of the book :

Develop a connection to how they operate in the present in Canada. Each is 450 words in length and must include citations and a Works Cited page. Each must demonstrate that you have attended lectures and never repeat the same ideas or reference the same readings from a previous piece of work. These are not a description of the lectures instead you are asked to take an important idea or issue and develop it further. It allows you some breadth of choice in what you want to focus on. There must be evidence though that you are drawing on lectures from the week of the submission, and both texts. The readings from the text may not mirror the lectures but there is content you can use to support your analysis. Your work should also be reflective of the intersection of racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia, and classism and how hierarchies are maintained.

Total 20% (written submissions -15% and in class group work – 5%).

These are the two readings to reflect on over the week.
