1. Define caring and compassion
2. Utilizing Evidenced- Based Practice (EBP) articles, identify (more than or equal to 5) behaviors which demonstrate caring and compassion in nursing.
3. Relate identified behaviors to a patient situation or scenario.
4. Provide a short description of the patient situation, and how caring/compassionate behaviors were utilized.
5. Develop a nursing diagnosis related to this patient situation- focusing on the patient’s need for caring and compassionate behaviors.
6. Identify more than or equal to 5 interventions with rationale, supported by identified Evidenced-Based Practice articles.
7. Discuss the patient’s response to the interventions used.
