The purpose of this capstone class is to help students develop their capstone assignment: a piece of original research engaging with current debates in the field.

The thematic focus of this capstone is the foreign policy of the Russian Federation, broadly defined.

Develop a project on any aspect of foreign policy as long as it is related to Russia. Adapt and expand the proposals you developed in your research prep courses.

Since this is a capstone, we will not devote significant time to studying the content of Russian
foreign policy. Instead, Focus on theories, debates, and methods, as well as the steps of carrying out a research project.
