Extensive research has documented the disturbing effects of implicit biases in a variety of realms ranging from classrooms to courtrooms to hospitals. Studies have shown that these subtle biases are widespread and have wide-ranging consequences. What can we do to reduce the impact of implicit bias in our schools, workplaces, law enforcement or other settings?
