Introduction – AVOID
I have already completed this part of the essay so please just focus on the main body and conclusion.

Main Body
Linking the approach (basically the BPS model) described above to the questions itself.

What you want to do is say how this BPS model can tie into this specific topic/question – “Preventing a person ‘at risk’ from actually becoming an offender”.
So, what you want to say is how this particular topic can tie into the model

Discuss recent research and evaluate the contribution to understanding about why people commit crime. My lecturer is quite specific when it comes to research so she expects most recent research, and only the classical theories (e.g., Bandura) would be ok.

She also wants us to only focus on academic journal articles, so no Wikipedia, Psychology Today etc. websites please.

So, one way you might want to do it (As suggested by the lecturer) is if you want to talk about some of the some of the biological, psychological, and social factors for that particular question that I have chosen.
BUT the important part is the second part which is the INTERACTION, SO PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU TALK ABOUT THIS INTERACTION.

What the lecturer specifically said she does NOT want us to do is to just talk about all of the bio, psycho, social factors and stop. It is fine to say those things, but the second part is showing how they interact with each other. So, what is the Biopsychosocial theory for this topic, how do the bio psycho and socio factor all link together.

She want us to have at least a couple of examples which show the three way interaction biopsychosocial. For example, is there a particular bio factor that has an affect on certain people more than others, does that have an knock on effect on the psychology of the person (resilience), and social theories.

But there also going to be examples of the two way interaction such as biopsycho or psychosocial.

You want to also explain why these interactions (BPS) are important.

PLEASE FOCUS ON THE INTERACTION.

My lecturer is also quite specific when it comes to critical evaluation so please if you could evaulate theoris and reserch as well, thanks.
And please only academic journals, and not non-academic websites such as Wikipedia.

Conclusion

A conclusion linking the above sections an specific implications for the future

Is this a good mode to use? Are There limitations? Are there advantages? Are there better ones?

It is fine to say that it is either great or not but need to back it up/ justify it.

What can the model tell us about research/practice I this area.

Basically, is this a good more, and what are the implications?

Although I said 24 hr for the essay it can be extended to 26hrs.

This essay is really important for me so if you could put as much effort into it it would be greatly appreciated as I have been having some health problems and I had to defer this essay so if I don’t pass it this time that will be 4 years of my studies gone :(.
