Analysis of Data (Findings/Results)

This chapter aims to underlining the outcomes of the study analysis, accumulating from the research methodology. Below are the results provided from the questionnaire of both the twenty-four employees and the six employers. The results have been also shown in percentage out of 100 to make a clear comparison between the two sets of results from each of the 10 questions asked. As mentioned earlier within the ethics section, no personal data has been collected which can make the participant evidently identifiable. Each of the participants spent approximately 5/10 minutes to answer the questionnaire in which then the responses were gathered together and calculated to work out the percentage and overall presented within a table. Additionally, the closed questions were easy to be presented in the table in numbers however the open questions were answered in more detailed as shown in the question and result which will be described and discussed later. This includes question number three, six, nine and ten.

The results of this research have demonstrated a different yet similar perception of diversity policies leading to enhancing employee retention between both the employees and employers. The main focus of this dissertation study was to analyse the impact of diversity policies in enhancing employee retention and the vies of the employees and employers at HSBC was demonstrated positively.
