Assessing issues of water access and distribution in small town

Primary objective:
The primary objective of the study is to understand the different issues involved in water accessibility and water distribution in Ukhrul town.

Specific objective:
Management and ownership of water resources in Ukhrul town is broadly classified into two i.e. Community and Municipal council so objectives are classified accordingly.

Accessibility (Community level)
Distribution (District Council)
● To understand the different challenges faced by the community in accessing primary water distribution systems.
● To understand different modes and strategies of water distribution by district council
● To explore different alternatives adapted by the community to access water.
● To understand the alternate water distribution system other than primary infrastructure.
● To understand different modes of acquiring Water from Gender and Class perspective
● Does the distribution meet the requirements of the people?
