Task 5 – EVALUATE INTEGRATION OF APP & BIS WITH THE FIVE DIMENSIONS OF IS MODEL
Your app is just the front end of your BIS and must not be presented in isolation. Please use the information system component model (hardware, software, data, telecommunications and human resources) to show your understanding of how data and information flow is created and managed throughout your organisation
• Your app and overall BIS should not be seen in isolation. They should be analysed and communicated in terms of their specific relationship to:
o Hardware selected and implemented,
o Software selected and implemented,
o Data and information created, managed, secured and analysed by your BIS,
o Networks and telecommunications selected and implemented,
o HR resources required to support delivery of the business and information systems strategies.
• In this task, you should also demonstrate understanding of your business relationship with the internet (opportunities and risks) applying some concepts covered such as:
o Disintermediation,
o Internet of Things,
o Web 2.0/3.0,
o Industry 4.0,
o Artificial intelligence
o etc., etc.
