Assignment: Awareness, Action, Reflection

Following the submission format style and length of your choice (e.g. written essay, photo essay, oral presentation, infographic, song, poem, letter to a politician, teleconference with professor… individually, in a group… the options are endless) demonstrate your learning by doing the following:

1. Perform an act that you feel exemplifies global citizenship and social justice in relation to a topic you learned about from weekly learning materials associated with either Module 2 (Food), Module 3 (Shelter), or Module 4 (Clothing). As always, be sure to cite any and all resources used in this section of your assignment both in-text and in your list of References in accordance with the APA guidelines posted in the course toolbox. NOTE: for past iterations of this course, students have: organized a food drive; made and distributed masks made from sustainable materials to essential workers; created memes to share course-based facts widely, for examples.

2. Explain and analyze how this act exemplifies global citizenship and social justice in relation to your chosen topic, being sure to define both concepts using course learning materials before clearly explaining the link that you understand to exist between the two and then analyzing how your act exemplifies these definitions. Be sure that the definitions you provide are taken directly from at least one learning resource that you have accessed from the weekly learning materials associated with a course lesson and that you cite all resources used in this section of your assignment both in-text and in your list of References in accordance with the APA guidelines posted in the course toolbox, which is the only guide that I will use when grading all course assignments.

3. As outlined below, marks will be assigned for basing this final assignment on learning from whichever module you did not already complete a Research Report about AND for providing some kind of proof (e.g. photo, screenshot, etc.) that act was performed.
