Question 1
The key point for this TMA is that you need to explain the doctrinal method, clearly identifying what the advantages and disadvantages of the method are.
You will need to provide examples to illustrate the points you make and present an argument as to why it is important to use the doctrinal method, identifying whether this should be used as a sole method of research or whether its limitations require that it should be combined with other methods.

This question asks you to describe your use of online resources in answering Question 1, and assess how well your research strategy worked. You should include:
what online resources you used (databases, internet search engines, etc.)
how you used them (e.g. for a preliminary search on a topic or to obtain a specific legal source)

Identify and explain the key features of the doctrinal approach
Critically evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the doctrinal approach as an approach to exploring legal meaning
Use and reference appropriate academic sources
Communicate your knowledge to specialist and non-specialist audiences clearly within an appropriate structure.
