Current Event Assignment Instructions

Overview

Choose a current event/news article (no more than 2 weeks old) that relates to a culture/country in the majority world. As a reminder, majority world is the preferred term for the non-western countries usually classified as “developing countries” (countries in Africa, Asia, South and Central America and the Caribbean). Please note that the United States, Canada, and the UK are not considered majority world countries.

Do not choose a random article; select an article that will allow you to apply the course material in your analysis and response.
