QUESTIONS:

1. How are you organizing your literature review, in terms of theory? Are you presenting a research question first, and then arguing that a particular theory be used to answer the research question? Or are you starting with a particular theory (or theories), and then designing a study to test this theory?

2. Is your theoretical approach more “functional” or “mechanistic”? Explain.

3. In your opinion, did Cassino and Besen-Cassino (2020) do a good job of introducing the theory/theories in their literature review, in order to capture the reader’s attention as to what/how the rest of the article will be organized? Or did their literature review leave you confused at the end?
