Paper details:

Taking a previous course on culture and relating it to military leadership and ethics. Review a previous field study course you have completed in the SSDA program (and also recall learning in other SSDA courses). In a paper of 10-15 pages, identify key ethical and/or leadership issues that exist in your previous work. You may wish to read additional resources identified in the recommended readings, or others you find. How does your thinking about ethics and leadership add to or inform your previous work? What additional recommendations might you make now that you have thought carefully about ethics and leadership in relation to your field study topic? For week 6, complete a draft of this assignment. Utilizing the biliography in the attached paper, this will outline culture, what it is, means, etc. From there I would like to state specifically what it is about culture that relates to military deployers, and if there currently is enough cultural training prior to leaving for deployments.
