Challenges to Organizational Structure and Systems

As a leader in a criminal justice organization, you will need to be able to identify challenges to your organizational structure and systems and apply organizational behavior leadership philosophies and practices to resolve problems. In this summative assessment, you examine problems and propose solutions for an organization within the criminal justice system.

 

Locate a specific criminal justice organization that is currently undergoing organizational issues.

Write a 800-word paper in which you discuss the challenges to the organization’s structure and systems. Address the following in your paper:

Identify and describe the selected criminal justice organization that is currently undergoing organizational issues.

Describe at least 3 organizational issues the organization is experiencing.

Discuss how the organizational issues and challenges affect the structure and systems of the organization.

Explain how the organization has addressed cultural and gender challenges at the leadership level.

Apply organizational behavior leadership philosophies and practices to provide at least one recommendation on how to prevent and/or mitigate each identified issue.
