Tackling an HR Dilemma:

Provide an opportunity for you to demonstrate your understanding of HR and leadership concepts, models, and practices covered in the course.
Imagine you are an International HR consultant who has been tasked to analyze an HR challenge within an organization and to present recommendations to address the challenge.
Select an organization in the global marketplace that currently faces a human resources management challenge and write a 2,000-word paper that analyzes the challenge and presents recommendations. You are not expected to conduct in depth research on the HR challenge; it will suffice to gather facts about the HR challenge from a general scan of the media and the company’s website.
The challenge must pertain to an HR topic: team functioning.
The organization that you select can be a large multi-national conglomerate or a small operation anywhere in the world.
In your paper, you are expected to include the following:
1) summary of the organization to set the context for your paper;
2) clear and concise statement of the human resources management challenge you plan to address;
3) analysis of the HR challenge;
4) 2 – 3 recommendations for addressing the HR challenge; and,
5) the approach to leadership you would use if you were the external consultant working with this organization to implement recommendations.
Analysis, recommendations and approach to leadership must make reference to course content.
