Read the assigned readings for Module 3, on Medieval Philosophy, and watch Module 3 video lectures.

Write a two page essay (Times New Roman, 12 pt., Double Spaced) on the following topic:

1. In your own words, describe in detail, each of Aquinas’s “Five Proofs for the Existence of God”.
1a. Dedicate a short paragraph to each proof.

2. In addition, you want to demonstrate the historical and philosophical connection between Aquinas’s proofs and the Kalaam Argument by Al-ghazali.

3. Note that both Al-ghazali and Aquinas are offering essentially the same arguments. Why?

Use the Internet Encyclopedia of Philosophy or Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy (both online) to research Aquinas and Al-ghazali, respectively.
