Group C initial post

This course has been incredibly educational with regards to learning the skills it takes to be an effective leader. Leadership is defined as an art form that influences other team members to achieve their maximum potential in accomplishing any task, objective, or project. Being a leader is not an easy task and this course has been instrumental in teaching me the different approaches leaders can take. Whether it has to do with resolving conflict among peers, or properly organizing and staffing a unit, this course covered it all. Even our research paper required us to take charge and attempt to solve problems that we all encounter in our daily work. Marquis & Huston (2021) note that leaders strive to solve problems in an adequate manner that will allow for the most optimal outcomes as often as possible.
