List at least one moral issue on which you have changed your thinking. What caused you to change your mind?

Consider all of the relevant factors that may have led to the change: i.e. changes in experience, changes in emotion, changes in logic, changes in evidence, etc. You don’t have to answer all of the aforementioned but try to excavate your own thinking a bit. Try to gain awareness of the way your consciousness responds to yourself, others and the environments you’ve interacted with.

After you’ve considered the factors that led to a change in your thinking, consider your biases. Do your biases match a particular cultural/political/religious group? If so, ask yourself if truly agree in the depths of your being with these views, or if you have some doubts/reservations about such views.

There is no need for an introductory or conclusion paragraph, and this is also not a research assignment. Consider this in exercise in “thinking about thinking”. If none of your views have significantly changed, try playing “devil’s” advocate with yourself. Try to imagine why someone who is just as open-minded and intelligent as you might disagree and contemplate the point of difference.
