and tighter regulations and restrictions have meant many pubs and restaurants are struggling to
survive with many getting into financial difficulties just to break even.
With reference to financial and enterprise risks, critically debate the statement that:

‘Restrictions may start to be lifted within the UK but the collapse of many more restaurants and
pubs within the hospitality industry is inevitable in 2022 following the aftermath of the global
covid19 pandemic, defying any enterprise risk management models and business innovations the
sector will try to implement’.
