Prepare a research paper on How Companies use various Managerial Accounting Methods to improve Profitability.

Your papers must include a review and contrast of multiple managerial accounting techniques that are
used by MULTIPLE firms. As such you should be discussing 2 or 3 companies that are NOT discussed in
your textbooks. In addition, it is acceptable to discuss the managerial accounting techniques used by
your current employer OR provide detailed recommendations of how the use of managerial accounting
techniques (with supporting analyses) can benefit your current employer. AS MANAGERIAL
ACCOUNTING IS FROM AN EXTERNAL VIEWPOINT, EXTERNAL FINANCIAL ANALYSES,
PARTICULARLY THOSE PREPARED FOR OTHER CLASSES, IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. Papers should
include a one-page executive summary. Papers should be approximately 4-5 pages in length, not
including a bibliography. Papers should use Times New Roman Font 12, .5-inch margins left, right, top
and bottom, 1.5 spacing, and justified centering.
