Review Alameda Handbook & answer following questions How was community defined in the Alameda county assessment project?
To what degree was the definition of community inclusive vs exclusive? (i.e. who was included, who was not?) How could it have been more inclusive?
What assessment tasks was the community involved in?
To what degree did the community:
Determine the need for the assessment?
Control the assessment process?
Control the dissemination of the results?
Have accountability for the assessment process?
How were strategic planning activities utilized in the community assessment process? To what degree do you think they were useful or not useful? Why?
Was the focus of the assessment broad or narrow in terms of topic and geography?
Compare  and  contrast  how  the  assessment  process  played  out  in  Livermore  and  South Hayward in relation to the four key principles around which the assessment was planned.
How much confidence do you have in the data that were collected? What other data would you have included?
