Neurodevelopmental Disorder Paper Due Module 4: 5-7-page paper on a neurodevelopmental disorder and the impact of that disorder on individuals and their families.

For this paper, students must select a neurodevelopmental disorder (see Module 3 and the DSM-V) and complete research on assessment and interventions on that disorder, as well as the impact of stigma and oppression on this population, and another topic area impacting or describing this population which may be of interest to the student (examples: rural, adolescent, transitional aged youth, substance use, ethics, respite, college support programs, etc).

One policy which impacts this population should also be identified and discussed. Your paper should conclude with practice recommendations for social workers when working with this population, and these recommendations should be based on your findings in your literature search. All submitted work must be at the MSW student level as far as topic selection and development, writing skills, APA formatting, and generation of new ideas with supporting sources. Quotations from sources should be minimal, and information should be paraphrased, synthesized, and cited. Please us the rubric areas as headings and subheadings to assist with topic organization within your paper.
