Leadership Presentation
Select and read a book of your choice on leadership. Identify the form and style of leadership therein. What are the leadership strategies identified and are they significant to the nursing profession? Will this book influence your professional growth? How? Discuss the significance of leadership book to your role as a leader. Pick a trait of the main character, that you consider yourself lacking, and “act as if” it is your strongest trait for a day (or two or three…). Engage with patients, friends, family, strangers while maintaining this quality – prepare to describe these interactions to the class.
