Should President Truman use the atomic bomb?

For the purpose of the paper, it is August 1945; President Truman is deciding if he should use the newly tested atomic bomb on Japan to bring the war to an end. You are a high ranking American official whose opinion the President values. Write a letter to Truman to address the above question. (REMEMBER: The US has not dropped the atomic bomb YET.)
