This module consists of two assessed tasks which are matched to the following learning outcomes for the module:

Task 1: A 1500-word critical reflection (40% of the overall module mark):

LO3: Using real life case studies, appraise how your own behaviour, values, beliefs, professional practice, and approach to decision making, enables the development of an integrated, person-centred approach
LO4: Evaluate how your professional knowledge and skills can complement those of other professions to provide person-centred, integrated care.
This task requires you to undertake a self evaluation of how you are progressing in your skills and knowledge as a collaborative and person-centred worker. More guidance can be found in a screencast and FAQs in the Assessment section of the Blackboard site. Module teaching time will also be used to support you.

The focus of this task is about YOUR practice development so far. You need to present some real world examples of you in action, and subject them to reflective analysis using relevant academic and professional sources in order to appraise your skills, knowledge, values and decision-making, examining how this complements other disciplines around you. Some thoughts about how you are going to continue working on specific aspects of your practice are needed, but it is optional to include a formal action plan.
