Informational Presentation on Abuse

Assume you are a case manager for your local children’s services department. Your supervisor has asked you to put together an informational Microsoft® PowerPoint® presentation for you to present at a local community college. In a 5-7 slide presentation include the following:

1.What are the functions of your department?

2.How does your state define child abuse?

3.What are the warning signs for abuse?

4.What are the child abuse and neglect stats in your state? Be sure to include victim statistics including age, race, ethnicity, gender, and family statistics.

5.Discuss mandatory reporters
