What are the risks of not recognizing distinct differences gender roles within marriage?

complete a research proposal of 15-20 pages (not including cover page,
abstract, reference pages, and appendices), in APA style. This proposal will include a
literature review, proposed research question, proposed methodology, and potential
contributions to the current literature.
15 (minimum) articles from peer-reviewed, APA journals, written within the past 10 years
Sources for the following information: statistics, background info, foundational literature (perhaps from books or from literature older than 10 years), etc.
