Famous Deaf People

What do you want to be when you grow up? Actor? Activist? Poet? Storyteller? Sportsman? Doctor?

 

Search for famous Deaf people in the career you want to be in. So for example, let’s say you want to be a comedian – search “Famous Deaf Comedians” and pull up people like the great CJ Jones. Start your project by putting this persons name, and yours on a TITLE PAGE. Then. Find out:

1. Where were they born?

2. Where do/did they live?

3. When did they start their career?

4. Why are they famous?

You may include pictures, if you would like, but these 1-3 pictures must remain on the Title Page.

Compile this information in a one page, double-spaced, 12-font Times New Roman or Garamond Font, and do not forget to add the CITATIONS! Any time you use something from a website you pull up, copy and paste that website on your paper so that you remember to go back and cite that source.

REMINDER your paper must include the following

1 – Title Page (pictures may be included)

2 – Content Page (double-spaced, 12-font)

3 – Citations Page (cite your web addresses)
