Over the last several years, there has been an increase in the use of Opiates. In fact, Opiate is used in different forms (taking prescription pills by mouth or snorting, and intravenously using heroin, morphine, etc.) by different groups of people.

What is it about Opiates that is so compelling that individuals from all different ages, races and socioeconomic status use it despite the dangers that are associated with its use?
What would you propose that we do about this epidemic?
