Human comforts requirements for a classroom and gym (P7):

Introduce the three comfort environments (visual, acoustic, and thermal)

Light – what is the definition of light? why does lighting need to be considered for the classroom/ gym when designing? Expand of the use of natural light? How can lighting be controlled? What happens when there too much lighting? What is the recommended lux level for a classroom/gym?

Noise – what is the definition of sound? why does sound need to be considered for the classroom/gym when designing? How can sound be controlled? What happens when there too much sound? What is the recommended sound level for a classroom/gym?

Thermal – what is the definition of thermal comfort? why does thermal need to be considered for the classroom/gym when designing? How can heat be controlled? What happens when there too much heat or less? What is the recommended heat temperature for a classroom/gym?
