1. What is the IP address of your computer or virtual machine?
2. What is the external IP address?
3. Ping the IP address for Google’s Domain Name Server (DNS). How many packets did you send?
4. Use traceroute to obtain information about the network connection between your computer or virtual machine and Yahoo.com. Use the data you obtain to answer the following questions:
a. What was the IP address of Yahoo.com?
b. How many hops were involved in the connection?
c. What “hop” took the shortest amount of time? Why?
