– History, Definitions and concepts

– Provide an analysis of differences in Pre-K, kindergarten up to higher education and PhD levels in Ghana and the UK. Look for key differences in males and females, emphasis on engineering versus an emphasis on science and other STEM areas,

– Provide an analysis and critical review of engineering education in higher education, vocational education, apprenticeships, traineeships, etc

– Look at the interest or otherwise of young people in engineering or pursuing a career in the engineering disciplines – the most important factors driving this interest and the barriers to these interests?

– Do same above for female interests in engineering in particular and STEM professions in general – in-depth analysis is required here.

What particular aspects of the engineering profession stands out for women in engineering. Is there a comparison or differences why men choose engineering versus women? Are there other drivers than gender?
