Court Portfolio

Your final project will be a court system portfolio. You will explore various aspects of the court system including the roles of the courtroom actors. This portfolio should be typed in a word document, size 12 font. Each section must be labeled like the assignment is labeled below. You should type the questions in bold and your answers in regular font. This handout will be uploaded in a word document in the module labeled “Final Project Instructions” so you will have nothing to do but add the answers and bold the questions.

Part 1-Federal Court

How many United State Supreme Court Justices are there?

List the United States Supreme Court justices: Their names and year appointed.

Part 3

List and define the three (3) main courtroom actors. In one paragraph each, describe their role/responsibility in the courtroom.

What are the bill rights?

Which of the Bill of Rights apply to the courtroom. Briefly type the amendment out, do not just list.
