Find two family members or friends (preferably 1 adult and 1 child) that have received occupational therapy services and ask them the following questions, noting the responses within this paper. Do your best to write cohesive paragraphs for responses provided. You can be creative with the assignment where you incorporate quotes from the interviewee and your own thoughts.

1. What are the ages of the individuals interviewed for this paper?
2. For what condition (stroke, autism, etc.) and functional problem areas (decreased strength, decreased balance, etc.) was this individual receiving occupational therapy?

3. What type of setting (hospital, nursing home, etc.) did each person receive services?
4. List 3 therapeutic activities that the therapist utilized and what the individual believed was the purpose of each activity? Complete some research and indicate what you found to be the specific purpose of this type of intervention?

5. How long did the individuals receive occupational therapy?
6. What is one thing the individuals remember the most about their occupational therapy sessions?

• It is preferred that you have 1 adult and 1 child for this assignment to see the different experiences of each population. But, if you only have access to a different combination (2 adults, 2 children) that will be accepted.

• DO NOT use names to ensure client confidentiality. DO NOT include pictures to ensure client confidentiality. You may use initials.
